Quick answerIndian students who want to practise in India must qualify NEET before taking admission abroad. Check NMC for the current rules on score validity.
Common questions
- Is NEET needed if I only want to practise abroad? Some universities admit students without NEET, but you would then not be eligible to practise in India.
- Is there a minimum score? You must reach the qualifying percentile for your category in the NEET result.
- How long is a NEET result valid for admission abroad? NMC has set a validity period; confirm the current rule on its website.
Keep your NEET scorecard safe: universities, visa offices and later the licensing authorities may all ask for it.
